26 July :- Indian women have to face defeat in the women’s hockey World Cup held in London. Indian women had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the last minute due to the reduction in the last few minutes against England in the opening game. However, the Indian team needed to win the match against Ireland to advance to the next round. However, Indian women did not get the chance to defend Ireland in the entire match. Ireland, however, took full advantage of the opportunity to win the 1-0 win and enter the final.
