19th July :- The milk movement which started last four days in the state was finally withdrawn on Thursday. The decision taken by the state government to provide a subsidy of Rs 25 for a milk producer and Rs 5 per liter for milk producers is very good and correct. So, welcoming the decision, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana chief and milk campaign convener Raju Shetty said.

Shetty said that the decision taken by the government is part of a long-term solution to the future. The state government has taken the decision that the milk coming to you from other states is going to go near the government’s decision. Therefore, the government’s decision is welcome. The government deserves the recognition for this. We had no reason to digest this movement, we wanted to give government relief to the farmers. Girish (brother) Mahajan has made a lot of runs for the discussion with the government.
Earlier, the subsidy given on milk was being exploited. This subsidy was not reaching farmers. However, the government has decided to take the right path today. So, it is announced that the milk supply will be smooth from tomorrow, “Shetty told reporters after taking away the movement of milk.
Our attention will now be on whether the government is properly implementing the conditions laid down by the government when the government declares its decision. During the agitation, farmers were violent, but no action should be taken against them. Raju Shetty also urged the government to appease the movement in the role of the mother. Besides, if the central government wants to forgive the farmers of the whole country, they will support us, so that they should consider it till tomorrow, “he said.
