08 june : Mumbai :- In some docks in the state, ST employees have started the Kambandh movement since midnight. Some unions have called this unannounced call. Due to not giving any presumption, the residents of Bhandara, Sangli have been discharged and no STs have been discharged from the ST stations since 7.00 am.
According to sources, this is not an organized form of any official organization, but the staff has called it promptly. Bhandara, Sangli, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Pune have been on strike since midnight. So buses in the stations are standing here. Even though ST services are running smoothly in many parts of the state, according to some organizations, the strike is being said to have a spontaneous response. The information about this strike has been spread through messages on mobile and through letters.
Transport Minister Diwakar Rawate did not accept salary increase ST employees. Their main demand is that they should pay 25 percent as temporary employees. Also, if the demand for the hike is not accepted, it has been warned to spread the agitation. All other types of buses except the Shivshahi and Shivneri buses are closed in Sangli district. Orangabad’s central bus stand, Shivajinagar, Bhandara bus stand in Pune, buses in Sangli bus stand, and buses are standing in the jurisdiction.
To increase the pay as per the Seventh Pay Commission, increase dearness allowance should be increased to 7 percent from July 1, 2016. According to the Bonus Act, the main demands for the ST employees are to be given bonuses along with the basic wage plus dearness allowance. Current pay staff ST employees should either agree or resign. Some ST employees have also alleged that the resignation staff will be accommodated in a private service, using the language transport minister Diwakar Rawate.
