03 July :- The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of torrential rain in 14 states including Goa, Karnataka, Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar. According to the forecast released by the department today, heavy rain warning has been issued in Goa and Konkan region in the next 24 hours. In this period, heavy rains have been warned in some places in Karnataka and coastal and southern regions of Gujarat, Gujarat, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and all the states of Northeast.
The Meteorological Department has not ruled out the continuous rainy season due to the active monsoon activity in these areas till July 6. In the northern states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and in some areas of Punjab and Haryana, light and heavy rain is continuing.
In the capital Delhi today, there is a hot summer during the period of light rain during some part of the day. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to heavy rainfall in some areas during the cloudy period in the national capital.
In the next 24 hours, in the next 24 hours, many areas of Uttarakhand, especially in the Kumaon region, have expressed the possibility of excessive rains, in view of which the authorities have been instructed to stay alert on the alert. In Pithauragarh, Nainital, Champawat, Udhamsingh Nagar districts of Kumaon, heavy rainfall has been received in sporadic areas and heavy rain has been warned in the districts of Dehradun, Haridwar and Pauri during the next 24 hours.
