There has been heavy rains in many parts of the state on Monday night. This morning, the rain took place for some time. However, again from 9.30 am, there was again heavy rains. The worst hit is in the city of Mangalore. In the first rain, the life of the people has been disrupted and it has taken time to call the helpers to move the citizens safely.
Water is stored in many low lying areas of the city. All the flights to Mangalore airport have been canceled due to heavy rains. In view of this situation, a holiday has been announced for all schools in the city tomorrow.

The Indian Meteorological Department had predicted the arrival of Monsoon to Kerala on May 29. This estimate is correct. Initially, due to the arrival of the monsoon in Kerala, there is a low pressure belt in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. So, there is a possibility of monsoon going down in Maharashtra soon.
