Aurangabad: 23 June :-  The question of the three gates in the city and the bridge over them has now come to a decisive turn. On Friday morning some residues of Mahendur Gate collapsed. Fortunately, no one was hurt in this accident. The bridges along the door are on the way to collapse at any moment. Though the bridge was dangerous, the Public Works Department gave it five years ago, it is still underway for 24 hours. Will municipal corporation make some concrete decisions after the blood collapse of innocent citizens? Such angry questions are being presented from Aurangabadkar.

Mahemud Gate
On Friday morning, the wooden door in the house of Mahemud Gate near Jalchakkhi was cut off. The remains of the gate are also saddened, they are also on the way to collapse at any moment. The location of the bridge adjacent to the gate is also very disassembling. About 350 years ago this bridge was built. A bridge was built in 1730. Shah Saeed Tilang Posh of Panchakki, his nephew Mahmood Shah Musafir, a disciple of the Burduja of Baba Shah Musafir, built a waterfall, bridge, gate after spending 20 thousand rupees. Traffic is continuing despite the bridge’s life was extinguished. Because of this traffic, the Mahmood Darwaza is getting annoyed day by day.

Barapulla Gate
A Gate is situated on Kham river at the point of Hokeyar from Milk Corner, which is Barapulla Gate. There is a huge historical pool adjacent to this gate. This is the only road to go from one to two lakh people in the camps, in Bhavanspura, every day. Barapulla is a historic bridge, much worse than the way the gate has been formed. This pool has also been declared dangerous. The corporation has not stopped the traffic from this till date. The chances of a major accident occurring on this bridge or in the door are believed to be from historians.

Makai gate
The historic gate near the valley is the Makai gate. Gate and bridges have been built during Aurangzeb’s period. It is the largest pool on Kham river. Its height is much higher than the other ones. Numerous tourists going to the makbara go from this gate and bridge. This can be a future crash due to the pull of the danger.

On the plan paper
For the past ten years, the road to both sides is at Mahmud Gate, Barapulla Gate, Makai Gate. The demand for the construction of the bridges is being demanded. Five years back, the state government had declared Rs 11 crore for the bridge. This fund does not come to the city. Municipal corporation has no funds. The political party is not ready to follow the government to build the bridge. Will the government and the NMC be awake if there is a Mahad incident in these three gates? This question is being presented by the citizens.
