05th Aug :- The name of Mughalsarai junction of Uttar Pradesh has changed from today. Now this historic railway station will be known as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay. The National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Amit Shah, officially launched it in Mughalsarai today. Meanwhile, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present.

Apart from Amit Shah in the program, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya and other senior BJP leaders were also present.
Meanwhile, the entire railway station is being painted in saffron color and the name of the platform along with the signboard entry and exit gate in the premises is also being changed. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the thinker of the National Self-Service Association, who delivered the message of ‘Integral Humanism’, was found dead in a suspected condition near Mughalsarai railway station in February 1968.
The Uttar Pradesh government decided to name the Mughalsarai railway station in the name of Deendayal Upadhyay in June this year. After approval in the Council of Ministers, the proposal was sent to the Ministry of Railways.
MP from Chandauli and BJP state president Mahendran Nath Pandey said that on the name of Mughalsarai junction in the name of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay who gave progressive ideology like Integrated Humanism, there is enthusiasm among people of the whole country not only Chandauli.
He said that Upadhyay was a great thinker. Today the Central Government running under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath from Uttar Pradesh are making policies for the welfare of the common people keeping in mind the things of them.
