The importance of public transport system in the development of cities – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai:09 June  – The public transport system is of great importance in the development of the cities. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said here today that he has been working to provide Integrated Ticketing System facility for the passengers of Mumbai city. He was speaking on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Mumbai Metro One at Versova Metro Station. Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that the Metro system of Mumbai Metro will be a guide for other future projects. Fadnavis removed.

In the program, the facility of ‘Metro Mobile Ticketing-Skip-Q’, based on QR code, was started by Chief Minister Mr. FDN. Also on my Metro Festival ‘My Metro Art Train’ was inaugurated by award-winning paintings, poems and photographs.

The program was attended by MLA Prasad Lad, Ameet Satam, Bharti Lavavekar, MMRDA Commissioner RA Rajiv, Group Infrastructure Managing Director Satish Sheth, Mumbai Metro CEO Chief Executive Officer Aayakumar Mishra and others.

Chief Minister Shri. Fadnavis said, Mumbai Metro One has changed the face of public transport in Mumbai. Cities can not be developed without a competent public transport system. So far, suburban railway services in Mumbai have served the passengers. But now Mumbai has got a modern alternative as a metro. The metro is recognized worldwide as fast, environmentally clean and capable. That’s why Mumbai Metro One would be a guide because of their operating system for other projects next.

Chief Minister Shri. Shri. Ramesh, who has been working hard to provide Integrated ticketing facility through mobiles for Mumbai’s passengers. Fadnavis said. This facility allows citizens to use any public transportation facility through a single ticket. He also said that the passenger transport facility will be included in the water soon to be started. MMRDA Commissioner Shri. At the hands of Rajiv, the 4-year-old coffee table book based on the Metro One’s release was released.

Mumbai Metro One is run by Mumbai Metro One Private Limited on the basis of public and private sector participation (PPP). This company is jointly established by Reliance Infrastructure Limited, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRD), and France’s Viola Transport.
