After Stalin, Putin has been the President of Russia for a long time. There were seven candidates against Putin in the presidential election. Putin’s bitter commentator Alexey Navlny was banned from contesting the elections.

Putin won 76% of the votes when he was elected for the post, and it became clear that he would be the president again. Communist Party candidate Pavel Grudinin received 11.8 percent votes and Vladimir Zirinowski received 5.6 percent of the votes.

After the official work, Putin said, it is my duty to work for Russia’s present and future. I will work for the well-being and prosperity of the future and for the well-being of every Russian family. Vladimir Putin was the KGB agent before. In 1999, he became the Russian Prime Minister. After that he was made the President of the country in just five months. At that time, he was 47 years old. Some major decisions were taken during Putin’s tenure. They succeeded in screwing Ukraine in Crimea, and stood firmly in front of Syrian Bashar al-Assad and retained their role. The United States, Israel, and of course, have seen Syrian issues as a headache for the whole of Europe, but Putin did not change his role in his role.
