Noida: 23 June :- Former Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Expressway Development Authority, PC Gupta, was arrested on Friday by the Police Station Police Station of Madhya Pradesh. The case is registered against Gupta under the Fraud and Corruption Act in the police station. This case was registered by the police inspector posted in the Authority. In the case, it is alleged that Gupta, the then CEO of the land of seven villages of Mathura district, under the authority, purchased the land together with his relatives and despite the need not, the land was authorized by the authority at double rate by the market price. Madhya Pradesh Police said that PC Gupta has been arrested in the land scam of 100 crores.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Ajay Pal said that Inspector Gajendra Singh, posted in the Authority, had filed a report on June 3 in Thana Kasana that seven villages of Mathura in the district under the Yamuna Development Authority, Shiv Patti Bangar, Shiv Patti Khadar, Kailana Bangar, 97 hectares of land in Kalana Khadar, Sonpur Bangar, Naujil Bangar etc were purchased on the basis of fake documents, and in spite of not being required This land was acquired by the Authority. It is alleged that the loss of the Authority was 126 crore rupees in this deal.
SSP said that in this case, the then Chief Executive Officer (IAS) of the Authority PC Gupta, Tehsildar Suresh Chand Sharma and Sanjeev Kumar, Jitendra Chauhan, Vivek Kumar Jain, Surendra Singh, Madan Pal, Ajit Kumar, Yogesh Kumar, Virendra Chauhan, innocent Against 22 people including Chaudhary, Gaurav Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Anil Kumar, Swati Deep Sharma, Sudesh Gupta, Sonali, Pramod Kumar Yadav, Nidhi Chaturvedi.
