New Delhi: 10 July :- The central government has shown its favor by stating that the functioning of all the courts in the country is possible and live streaming can be done. The Central Government told the apex court Tuesday. It will be possible for all concerned to see the court’s function when it actually starts.
In order to prepare guidelines for such a launch, order the Attorney General to make suitable instructions. Ajay Khanvilkar and Justice A Bench of Dhananjay Chandrachud said on Monday.
The apex court had on May 3 directed the central government to direct the court’s functioning, record its video or write it in writing. Swapnil Tripathi, a student of National Law University in Jodhpur, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking direct telecast of the proceedings of the Supreme Court.
The method is in many countries
Attorney General GE Vahan said that the functioning of the courts is broadcast live in many countries of the world. K. Venugopal has already told the Supreme Court.
To ensure greater transparency in the functioning of the judiciary, the Supreme Court has permitted only last year to set up CCTVs for the functioning of judicial courts and arbitration in each state.
