New Delhi: BJP leaders say that the Karnataka Governor should invite us to form the government, because the maximum number of seats in Karnataka is given to his party, but in the past it has been BJP’s politics of at least three states. Although the Congress was the largest party in those states, the BJP had formed the government there by taking help of other parties or by helping them.
Meghalaya: In the Vidhan Sabha elections held this year, Congress won 21 out of 60 seats, whereas the BJP had won only two seats. Still, the BJP has started to form government with the hands of the NPP (the victorious legislator 19) UDP (winning place 6). Most of the seats in the Congress were not invited to form the government.
In the Vidhan Sabha elections held last year, Congress won 28 out of 60 seats. They needed only three seats for government formation. But BJP, which has won 21 seats, formed a government by joining the NPP and LJP with two regional parties. Even the biggest party criteria were not there.
Goa: Elections last year and Congress wins 17 seats out of 40 seats. BJP got 13 seats. President Amit Shah arranged for the formation of a BJP government with the help of Maharashtra Gomantak Party, three independents and others. There the governor did not even allow the governing party to form the majority of the legislators. Not only this, since there is no consensus on the CM’s post, the BJP has again sent Manohar Parrikar, a Defense Minister, to Goa. He became the chief minister there.
What criteria should we apply?
The majority of seats won by the party are called for the government to be formed. Therefore, the BJP has claimed in Karnataka as such. But that party has only 104 MLAs and majority requires 112 MLAs. That is, the BJP does not have that much figure. In contrast to Congress
Coordinated by Janata Dal (Secular)
There are 115 MLAs. So, the Governor Vajubhai Vala
It’s okay to see what the criteria are there. If he calls Yeddyurappa for the formation of the government, then the bill of the MLAs will come and the billions of rupees will be traded for it, no doubt.
