10 June :- Taliban fighters attacked at a military base in Kunduz province of Afghanistan on Saturday. Officials informed that at least 19 Afghan policemen were killed in this attack.
The terrorists had to announce an unprecedented ceasefire from next week. This attack was done a few hours before the Taliban announcement of the ceasefire with Afghan security forces for the first three days of the Eid. Taliban has taken responsibility for this attack.
This attack took place a day after the terrorist attacks on a military base in Herat, Western Province. About 17 Afghan soldiers were also killed in that attack.
The spokesman of Kunduz provincial governor Nehhamtala Taimuri said that five members of the local police force were injured in a recent attack on a police base in Kal-e-Jal district.
Provincial police spokesman, Yeh Muddin Rahmani confirmed the number of dead and said that eight Taliban fighters were killed.
It was attacked a few hours before the Taliban announcement of the ceasefire with Afghan security forces for the first three days of the Eid.
