04 June :- A suicide bomber killed 12 people in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul. The attack took place when more than two thousand Maulvi and Dharma Guru came to attend a meeting on Monday to establish peace against terrorism. The number of people killed in the attack is a fraction of the increase.
A top religious body here issued a fatwā, terming suicidal attacks as deadline under Islamic law. In this meeting a fatwa was issued in a meeting of the members of the Afghan Ulema Council. The council includes clerics, scholars and people related to religion and law.
The Council appealed to the Afghan government’s army and the Taliban, to stop fighting with other militants and to agree on the ceasefire. He also called for peace talks between the two sides.
This is the first time the council has made such an appeal. Council member Ghofranullah Murad read out a written statement of the meeting that innocent innocent men, women and children of Afghanistan are victims of war.
