04 Aug :News Express 24 :- By giving India a special status, the US has not only increased the scope of our country in the world, but also gave a strong message to China. This is a major blow to China, which opposes the inclusion of India in the NSG, because the Donald Trump Administration of America has rated India as a Strategic Trade Tribunal-1 (STA-1) and achieving this status as India South Has become the only nation in Asian countries. Declaration of export control for the sale of high technology products by the US will strengthen relations between the two countries and some other areas. It is important that India, the only South Asian country to get this status Apart from this, US NATO allies South Korea, Australia and Japan get this status.
Indeed, the Donald Trump Administration has placed India in its list of so-called strategic business tribunals-a list (STA-1) and it would be easy to export high technology products to India from here. In India, Ambassador of India Navtej Singh Sarna described the decision as an example of America’s growing trust in India as a partner in the fields of economic and security. He has said that this will lead to bilateral defense relations.
America recognized India as a major defense partner in 2016. After this, this year America has been granted STA-1 status by India. Sarna said, “It is not only a symbol of growing trust but it also recognizes the capabilities of India as an economic and security partner. It is believed that there are many levels of export control system in India, which can be transferred to India without any risks of more sensitive technologies and dual-use technologies. “US Commerce Minister Wilbur Ross told India After announcing the status of STA-1, Sarna said this in his address in a program here.
In this way, India has become the 37th country in the STA-1 ranking list. This status is usually given to NATO members by the United States. Significantly, this status for India is also very special because India has not yet received the membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group, which has been opposing China always.
Traditionally, the United States only includes those countries in the STA-list which is a member of the four export control mechanisms. For example, missile technology control regimen, Wasner Arrangement (WA) Australia Group (AG) and NSG. However, India is a member of the three of these, but the NSG’s approval has not yet been received, as China repeatedly becomes obstructed in its way.
Let us know that India has welcomed this decision. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that this decision of the United States is recognized by India as a major defense partner and confirms its immaculate record as a responsible member of the related multilateral export regime.
