28 July :- All party leaders met with Chief Ministers in Nagpur on Maratha reservation on Saturday. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in a joint press conference that a special meeting was scheduled to be held in this meeting.
Presently the state Legislature is conducting a rainy season in Nagpur. Meanwhile, due to the ongoing Maratha movement in the state, a meeting of the leaders of the alliance with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was discussed. In this, various important issues related to Maratha reservation were discussed. In this, the state backward class has asked the Maratha community to resolve the issue on the lines of Tamil Nadu. It has also been requested by the opposition and the opposition parties that the report should be submitted at the earliest.

In addition, violent incidents were reported during the band called during the Maratha movement. In this, attacks on police have been carried out. In the CCTV footage, some have been seen to break police cars and damage public property. Action will be taken against participants in such activities. However, in addition to this, the Chief Minister said that if the cases were filed against the youth, the Chief Minister has given the order to withdraw it.
The Chief Minister said, the state government has enacted the legislation regarding Maratha reservation, but it was challenged in the High Court. Then we went to the Supreme Court However, the court here again sent this case to the High Court. Subsequently, according to the court’s direction, the state backward class was sent for research on the Tamil Nadu background. Now after the report is received, a special session will be convened promptly, and after this, the right decision will be taken.
