New Delhi:11: June :- Samajwadi Party President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has made a big statement about the SP-BSP combine. He said that our alliance with the BSP will continue to defeat BJP in 2019. Even if we have to sacrifice 2-4 seats to get rid of BJP from power, we will not go back. Our motive is to defeat BJP and for this we are ready to combine with the BSP even after fighting in lesser seats. In the bypolls, alliance with BSP will continue in 2019 too. Akhilesh Yadav’s statement has come after BSP supremo Mayawati’s statement. Recently, BSP chief Mayawati had said that the alliance with the other parties would be only when we got respectable seats. After this statement of Mayawati, this statement of Akhilesh is being considered as very important.

Significantly, in the bye-election of Phulpur and Gorakhpur, SP and BSP came together and fought elections together. It also got the benefit and the coalition took its name from both seats. After this, both the parties were in the sub-election of Karana and Noorpur recently and were successful in defeating the BJP. Considering the results of the by-elections, the demand for keeping the coalition in the 2019 elections under the SP-BSP is also rising. So that the BJP could be stopped in UP. Although there was confusion about seat sharing, but now considering the positive attitude of Akhilesh Yadav, the alliance between the two parties will continue.
