April 28: Nagpur : –
To increase productivity and production in the agricultural sector it is necessary to convey advanced technology available to agriculture today. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis today expressed his confidence that ‘Vanamati’ will complete the need for training in the field of agriculture.
The inauguration of Vasantrao Naik Memorial Hall of Vasantrao Naik State Agricultural Extension Management Training Institute (Vanamati) was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
At that time he was speaking while guiding them. Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bhaavankule, Mayor Smt. Nanda Zachkar, MP Anil Mahatme, MLAs S / Shri Sudhakar Deshmukh, Prakash Gajbhia, Girish Vyas, Additional Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Anoop Kumar, Director of Namdeen Ravindra Thakre, Senior Administration Officer Smt. Suvarna Pandey were present on the occasion. .
Through agricultural education, agricultural and administrative matters are given training to various groups. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that due to the need of most training in agriculture sector today, due to climate change there are huge changes in the agriculture sector.
Unless the agricultural sector gets the science and technology linkage, the agricultural sector will not have the stability. It will certainly benefit the farmers if they have proper training for things like climate change, land and water testing.
The government is implementing various schemes for the farmers. It is imperative that Government plans and new technologies reach the common farmers and use them in their fields. If you are trained in the field of agriculture through innovative technology, productivity increase will definitely increase yield. He also urged the agriculture sector officers and farmers to give new training through the villagers.
The Chief Minister further said that Vidarbha’s son and former Chief Minister, Vasantrao Naik, did pragmatic work in the fields of agriculture and water conservation. But then they were ignored. Since successfully implementing the ‘Jalakit Shivar Yojana’ in Maharashtra, the water level has gone above 5 meters. Due to drought-like operations in Marathwada, water level has gone upto 3 meters. Rabi production has increased due to water conservation and agriculture sector has turned to Horticulture.
The state needs water conservation rather than a big dam. This concept was invented by Vasantrao Naik at that time. By keeping a vision, he worked for the masses. This hall is called as Vasantrao Naik, who is shouting ‘I will make Maharashtra self-sufficient in foodstuff’ ‘, this is surely a solution. Vasantrao Naik Smruti Sabha hall was built in Vannamati. I congratulate everyone on this occasion.
