06 June :- Superstar Rajinikanth’s most famous ‘Kala’ is being released tomorrow (Thursday). However, the protest in Karnataka is still being opposed. Finally, Rajinikanth himself requested the Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. They have requested to provide security in the theaters where the film will be released. Rajinikanth had made a statement a few days ago on the question of water sharing in Kaveri. That is why the film is being opposed to ‘Kala’.
The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has been demanding ban on this film. Court ordered on Tuesday to show the film as per the wishes of filmmakers. The court also said that the state government will have the responsibility to provide security arrangements outside such theaters. Commenting on the court order, the Chief Minister said that this time the film is not suitable for exhibition. That is why Rajinikanth requested them.
‘I can understand the condition of Kumaraswamy. But if the ban is imposed in Karnataka, it will be further underlined if the film is being screened all over the world. The demand for movie banbers to ban the timing is incorrect. They should open the way for the exhibition, “said Rajinikanth.
In Karnataka and Tamilnadu, there is a tremendous fight from the water level of the Kaveri river. The organizations that had raised the issue of Kannada assimilation demanded ban on this film. Rajinikanth demanded that Tamil Nadu get excess water from the Kaveri river. Some of the organizations in Karnataka had decided to oppose this film because of this demand. The Supreme Court had ordered the Cauvery water dispute on February 16. This order has given Karnataka more water than Tamilnadu. South Korean artists Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan also protested against this.
