New Delhi:12 June :- Rail and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal launches a new mobile app ‘Menu on Rails’ developed by IRCTC on Monday to create awareness amongst the passengers about the food or food items served during the train trip. Have done According to the statement released by the ministry, this mobile app gives comprehensive information about the menus (menu of dishes) that are served on all types of trains. Foods for mail / express trains are covered in four categories: drinks, snacks, food and any specific foods (A-la-carte).
According to the statement, for standard foods such as tea, coffee, bottled water, public food, standard vegetarian food (plate), standard non-vegetarian food (plate), standard vegetarian food (casserole or casserole) and standard non-vegetarian food (casserole or casserole) Rates are only mentioned for both train and station. (Except food plaza and fast food units).
According to the statement, specific food items include a list of 96 items under categories of breakfast, light meal, combo food, non-vegetarian food, Jain food, sweets, diabetes food items etc. The statement states that this mobile app also provides information about the menus in the Rajdhani / Shatabdi / Duranto group trains, in which the food is also booked by the travelers at the time of booking their ticket. According to the statement, AP Dynamic and Tejas also shows the food served in the trains (already booked).
