Paris:10 June : – Rafael Nadalan of Spain defeated Dominic Thimma of Austria in the men’s singles final of the French Open. In the unilaterally final match, Nadal defeated Austria’s Thimm 6-4, 6-3, 6-2. Rafael did not give Thimma a chance in a two-hour-long match. Raphael has won the French Open title 11 times with the win.
And Thimm, who reached the Grand Slam final since 1995, became the first Austrian player. Earlier, Thomas Muster lost the French Open title of 1995 to Michael Chang of USA 7-5, 6-2, 6-4. With these victories, Rafael Nadalan has also matched Roger Federer.
