Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Nepal this morning after a lot of publicity in Karnataka. His two-day visit to Nepal from Janakpur has started. This is his third trip to Nepal as the Prime Minister. After reaching Janakpur, Modi first went to Janki temple and worshiped him.

Modi and Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the India-Nepal bus service. Bus service has started from Janakpur to Ayodhya. Modi will visit three places of pilgrimage in a two-day tour. Modi will also undertake the Bhumi Pujan of a project in his tour and there will be important deals in both the countries. Modi has gone to Nepal on Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s invitation.
India and Nepal have cultural relations since ancient times. From a strategic perspective, Nepal is a very important country for India, but in recent times, China’s influence has been growing on Nepal. Therefore, strengthening India-Nepal relations is an important objective behind Modi’s tour.
