New Delhi:13 June :- The world’s largest bank will start in India in July. Postal Department is preparing to start the Postal Bank with 1.5 lakh branches. There are signs of banking permission from the Reserve Bank in 15 days.
Currently, there are two branches in Raipur and Ranchi, and another 650 branches will be started by March next year. In the next one and a half year, more than 1.5 lakh postal offices will have access points or extension branches.
Union Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said this. They said, we are awaiting the RBI’s permission. More than a dozen postal branch branches will be started within 15 days of receiving it. It will be the bank that will have more than 1,33,000 branches or access points in rural areas. Presently, 23,000 post offices have CBS, which is a bank-required core banking system.
Apart from this 995 ATMs have been installed. We can not go to the customer’s home and provide banking service; Apart from this, the account holders will get the money through the postman also.
