29 July :- 33 people were killed in a horrific accident that collided with a truck carrying poles of Dapoli Agriculture University collided between Poladpur and Mahabaleshwar. So far 25 bodies have been recovered from the accident that took place on Saturday morning. Work of trekkers and NDRF to disperse bodies is still going on. 34 people, employees, students and drivers of Dapoli Agricultural University, went on a Saturday to dawn at Mahabaleshwar from Dapoli on Saturday morning. He had also photographed a humorous atmosphere before going out on a trip. But within a few hours all of them felt envious of the joy. The driver of the bus was released on the one hand when his bus arrived in the morning around 9.30 am. It is understood that the accident occurred due to a collapsed bus.
As soon as the information was received, the police administration of Satara and Raigad district administration, police station, ran the spot. Local citizens, police immediately started help. Helpers of the mountaineers were also assisted in the deep valley. At 12 o’clock in the morning, the helpline was found to be all dead except one in the bus. After this the dead bodies were started from the valley. A large crane was used for this.
Government’s help to the heirs of the deceased –
The state government has announced a grant of Rs 4 lakh each to the relatives of the deceased. Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has announced that a committee will be formed to study such cases not to be caused.
