19 May :- Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 31 runs in the 53rd edition of the IPL season 11. Rajasthan Royals, batting first by winning the toss in the match played at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur, lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and scored 164 runs and set a target of 165 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore to conquer. In reply, Royal Challengers Bangalore chased down target of 134 runs in 19.2 overs and Rajasthan were beaten. Except De Villiers (53), none of the RCB batsmen could stand on the crease.
Rajasthan scored the target of 165 runs for Bengaluru
Batting first, winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals, losing 5 wickets in 20 overs, scored 164 runs and set a target of 165 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore to conquer. Opening batsman Rahul Tripathi for the Royals scored the highest score of 80 runs. He hit five boundaries and three sixes in his 58 balls. In addition, captain Ajinkya Rahane scored 33 runs. Fast bowler Umesh Yadav bowled superb bowling from Bengaluru, taking 3 wickets in 25 balls with 4 wickets in 4 overs.
