During the hearing on a petition filed against rape on minor girl, the central government had written a written reply. There has been a demand that death row convicts should be punished for raping chimps for the past several years. The Supreme Court will hear the next hearing on 27 April.

The incident took place in Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, after the gang-rape of a 8-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped and the whole country was shaken. Kathua rape is being discussed at international level. People are demanding that the rape accused should be hanged.
