The incident happened on Tuesday ( 19 june ) at around 5:15 pm on government hospital in Risla Bazar area, after the death of 13-year-old child in a 25-feet-deep pothole in the underground drainage scheme in the city.
The work of land drainage scheme has been started from the previous year at Hingoli city. The awakening has been done. A 25 to 30-foot pothole has been excavated since last month in front of the District General Hospital in Risla Bazar area. Due to the intermittent rains, about 10 to 12 feet of water is available in this ditch.
The 13-year-old boy, Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Khizar, from Khadakpura area of the city, had come to play with his friends at around 5.00 pm for the general hospital. When he was coming to the pit to wash his hand, he was hit by the balance and he fell into the water. After starting an ammunition to save his colleagues, the government hospital staff came forward to help. Hingoli city’s sub-divisional police officer Rahul Madane, the police inspector Udaying Chandel and the employees of the police rushed to the spot after the information was received by their friends. A fifteen minute boy was discovered because the water was deep.
The boy was taken out of the water and admitted to the government hospital for treatment, the doctor declared him dead. During this time, the boy had come down to the water, and he did not get the information given by the police in the pothole. The police are investigating the case. But due to the ground drainage scheme, the 13-year-old son has lost his life and expressed his anger. After reaching relatives of the deceased at around 6.00 pm in the government hospital, after breaking the tears, they found that the hospital area was disturbed. By the time, the post-mortem was in progress.
