20 May :-
If approval of the railway proposal is approved then it will be celebrated not only on National Cleaner Day in the country on October 2, but also in the honor of Mahatma Gandhi as ‘Shakhaar Das’.
According to the proposal made by the Railways, non-meat meals will not be given to the passengers in the railway station or the office premises of October 2, 2018, 2019 and 2020. In the year 2020, the central government has organized a special program for Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary.
In addition to celebrating ‘Shakhaar Dill’ by the Railways, the train has planned to take a special salt train from Sabarmati on March 12 from Sabarmati to ‘Sanitation Express’ and ‘Dandi March’ for various stations connected with Gandhiji.
Railways will distribute tickets with Mahatma Gandhi’s Watermark photograph. They need the approval of the Ministry of Culture for this. Earlier this month, President Ramnath Kovind had assumed the presidency of the first meeting of the National Committee for the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Meanwhile, in the statement sent to all the departments by Railways last year, it said that two October 2018, 2019 and 2020 can be fully celebrated as a vegetarian day. Non-vegetarian items should not be served anywhere on the day in the Indian Railway area.
Railways have invited all railway employees to celebrate vegetarian days. In addition, it is also planned to set up special paintings on the stations related to Mahatma Gandhi.
Digital museum will be built at this station. These railway stations will be provided with information related to Gandhi. In addition, there is a plan to install Gandhiji’s paintings in all the department headquarters and administrative buildings.
