22 June :- E-commerce giant Amazon has launched a new subscription of 1 month to become a prime member in India. The company has kept the price of this plan at Rs 129. So far there was a plan of Rs 999 in India, whose validity is of one year.
At present, this new plan is visible to non-prime users. It is difficult to say that this plan has been introduced for all users. It can be purchased only with a credit or debit card. Customers paying with debit card can use only the card of HDFC and ICICI Bank. This is because the auto renewal option is activated by default. I.e. the subscription will renew automatically after 30 days.
Speaking of Amazon Prime, this is the company’s exclusive service for the members. It offers services such as One Day Delivery, Prime Video and Amazon Music
Amazon launched Prime Service in India in July 2016. Then it was launched as an Introductory Offer for Rs. 499. Later, in 2017, it was converted to a price of 999 rupees. In India, the Amazon Prime Service was launched three years after the launch in the international market.
