19 July : New Delhi:- A new note of Rs 100 will come soon in Indian currency. The Reserve Bank of India has issued a photograph of the new 100 rupees and the noticeable color is light purple. In this note, photograph of the well-known Queen’s wells (Bawdi) of Gujarat has been given.

Printing of 100 rupees in print printing center at Dewas has started. The printing press in Mysore, which had a design of Rs. 2 thousand rupees, was designed. In the same printing design, this 100 rupees note design has been made. Also, these new notes of Rs 100 will have micro-security features. The size of this note is less than the old 100 rupees and the size will be 66 mm × 142 mm.
Specifically, the paper and ink used for these 100 rupees notes are indigenous. The Reserve Bank has said that the currency will be in circulation in August or September.
