21 Aug : News Express 24 :-

The National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) examination will be conducted once a year and it will be done offline. The Ministry of Human Development has announced this. The ministry had decided to take the NEET exam online from year 2019 twice a year, now the government has withdrawn the same decision. However, the decision to hold joint eligibility test (JEE) twice a year has been retained.

With the new government decision, the NEET test will be conducted in a traditional manner by paper and pen. The Ministry of Health had said that the Government’s decision to take the NEET examinations online would be held in poor and rural areas. Accordingly, this change has been made.

Apart from this decision, the schedules of the NEET-2019 have been announced and the registration process of the NEET will start from November 1 and will be conducted on May 5. However, the Joint Eligibility Test (JEE) will be held twice a year. The Indian Express has given a news report.

Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar had announced in the press conference on July 6 that the NETA will be conducted by the National Institutes of Technology (NET), which is newly established under the National Level Entrance Examination (NET, NEET, JEE). At the same time Javadekar had announced the schedule of these examinations. Accordingly, JEE (Mains) will be held twice a year in January and April, the NEET exam will be conducted in February and May. The National Eligibility Test (NET) will be held in December.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry had objected to the announcement of the Ministry of Human Development Ministry. In three days, sending a letter to the Ministry of Human Resource Development had said that the public announcement of the NEET test was carried out without consulting us. Also in this letter, 8 problems in examinations were discussed. In this, online examinations were said to affect students from poor and rural areas.
