Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti said that the government should try to improve relations with Pakistan once again. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should start a discussion with the newly appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. Mehbooba Mufti said that only after the debate started in India and Pakistan would stop the violence in Kashmir Valley.
Poverty and violence in Kashmir can not be exterminated unless there is a consensus on the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan. Both countries are spending their money on buying guns, weapons, ammunition. Mufti said that if this money is spent on the education of the hospital and poor children, then many children will get a bright future. In the hospital in Kashmir, there is a shortage of doctors, school teachers. He said that situation in Pakistan is in the same condition as it is in Jammu and Kashmir.
I appeal to our Prime Minister to hold dialogue with new Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and resume talks from where Vajpayee Ji had left, so that violence in the valley can come to an end: Former #JammuAndKashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti in Rajouri pic.twitter.com/LOB1I5LFBg

Talk to Pakistan and Kashmiri people, there is no such option. He addressed the PDP workers on Tuesday in Rajouri. He said that the PDP had led BJP with the help of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. You have decided to go with BJP for the public. But BJP betrayed. He accused the BJP of trying to obstruct Jammu and Kashmir for obstructing the development of power. In any case, he said that 35 A and Article 370 will not be allowed to be deleted from Jammu and Kashmir.
