Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day tour of Purvanchal. PM is stepping on the Azamgarh land for the first time since Banan. During this time, he will also address a public meeting along with laying the foundation of the main project of Purvanchal Expressway in UP. This tour of PM is believed to be the beginning of Mission 2019.
Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of 340 km long Purvanchal expressway in Azamgarh today PM has reached Varanasi Airport and will be taken to Azamgarh from helicopter. From 2:30 pm to 03.30 pm, there is also a program for addressing the public meeting in addition to laying the foundation of Purvanchal Expressway. PM Narendra Modi leaves for Varanasi at around 03.40 pm on a helicopter from village Manduri Helipad.

It will link the important and historic cities of eastern Uttar Pradesh like Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Faizabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau and Ghajipur, including Highway Capital Lucknow. The goal of this expressway will be made in three years. Through this expressway, all the major cities of Uttar Pradesh will be connected through Delhi Expressway from Noida in the west to Ghazipur in the east.
PM Modi will address a large public gathering after placing Purvanchal Expressway at Azamgarh at 2:30 pm. Through this rally, he will try to woo the voters of the surrounding districts. After this the PM will address the rally at Varanasi at noon at four in the afternoon. At night, PM will meet intellectuals in Banaras.
Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Mirzapur on Sunday. Here the nation will dedicate the project to the Bansagar Nagar. This project will encourage irrigation in the area, which will benefit the farmers of Mirzapur and Allahabad districts of Uttar Pradesh.
In this program Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Mirzapur Medical College Prime Minister will inaugurate 108 public drug centers in the state. Modi will also dedicate the bridge built on the river Ganga in Balughat, Chunar, which will connect the city of Mirzapur and Varanasi.
This proposed stormy tour of the Prime Minister tells that in Uttar Pradesh, he has now taken charge of election campaign directly in his hands. During this time he will propose his plans. By laying the foundation of Purvanchal Expressway from Azamgarh, he will keep the agenda of development from Purvanchal to Bundelkhand.
