The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall over the next 48 hours. Even today, school colleges will remain closed due to the fear of rain.
The rain has decreased in Nagpur from seven o’clock in the evening yesterday and the clouds are still clear. The shops which were closed yesterday, due to the rains, they have opened today at 5:30 a.m. today. Now the common man is returning to life. Large claims of development have been done in Nagpur, but the entire city was submerged in one day rain. The big thing is that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis himself is a resident of Nagpur. Not only that, Union minister Nitin Gadkari is also here and the RSS headquarters is also here. The opposition is asking that the CM who will not be able to manage his city will be able to handle the situation.
Due to the rain, the lives of 500 children of Adirs Sanskar School in Pipala area of Nagpur were in danger yesterday. About 500 children were trapped in school. In the morning when the children reached school, the situation was normal, but gradually the water increased so much that it reached the inside of the school. The school immediately informed the police and the police started withdrawing the children with the help of boat and trucks. Schools have been closed on Saturday due to heavy rain warnings in the next 48 hours.

Due to the rain water was flooded in the assembly yesterday due to which the proceedings of the house had to be stopped. Due to water filling the power station, the supply of electricity got stalled and several MLAs including Maharashtra’s minister Vinod Tawde were seen sitting in their room by burning candles. It is being told that the drains near the assembly were not cleared and due to this the water was filled in the assembly.
