Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that Mumbai will fund 1,000 IITs for infrastructure facilities. Also, IIT’s children in India have a worldwide role in influencing students of IIT Mumbai. Modi said that India is the second place in the start-up area.

Modi is praising Mumbai’s IIT students during the 56th convocation of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai in the morning. He also announced a funding of Rs.1000 crore for the development of Mumbai IIT. After this conclave, Modi inaugurated the new building of Environmental Science and Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering Department. Human Resource Development Minister, Prakash Javadekar, Governor C.K. Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present. On behalf of IIT, Dr. Symphony Technology Group founder chief executive officer Dr. Romesh T. D Lit was provided to Wadhwani.

Information revolution has brought about a new revolution in the country. In this, he expressed his happiness about being the most valuable place for IIT’s students in the era of startup.
Prime Minister Modi said that the IIT Mumbai campus is very good. In the last four years, the students have learned a lot here without education. It has also had a favorable effect on their personality development, he said. Prime Minister said that IIT Mumbai is representing real India. He is also seen in the diversity of Indian society, he said. 5G, Blockcon Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc. will change the world in the coming years, in which IIT students will have a significant share. Modi said that IIT has now become India Instrument of Transformation. He expressed his optimism that this change will take India forward to progress. He appreciated the participation of IIT students in various streams around the world
Meanwhile, on the background of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, there was tight security in IIT. In this program Ramesh Wadhwani will receive honorary D.Sc. The degree was provided.
