03 July :- There was a major accident on Tuesday morning in Andheri area of Mumbai. Here a slab of road overbridge fell, after which four fire brigade carts reached the spot. These bridges were near Andheri railway station, due to which the trains running from Andheri to Virar have been closed. It is being told that the bridge fell suddenly at around 7.30 in the morning. Two people were injured in this accident.

According to the Fire Brigade reached the spot, this bridge connects the Andheri East to Andheri West. He said that we are running rescue work as soon as possible. This bridge is named Gokhale Bridge. Due to the debris of road overbridge, the OHE has been affected on the railway track due to which there has been a difference in traffic. All 4 lines which have been closed from Andheri have been closed. Due to the collapse of the bridge, the work of the famous Dabbawalas of Mumbai has also been stalled.

There are two schools on the other side of the bridge, there is a railway station nearby. This is the reason that these bridges are used quite a lot, however, because the accident took place in the morning, there were not many people on the bridge.

After the accident, Mumbai Police also tweeted about this. Police said that all arrangements related to security are being done on the spot after the fall of the bridge. Police has arrived on the spot, traffic is still stopped.

Let us tell you that there has been continuous rains in Mumbai for quite some time. Even on Tuesday, during which the bridge fell, there was rains. Due to rain, water is also flooded in many areas. It is clear that if the bridge was so weak then it would show a negligence to keep it running for the people.
