On August 9, the gross Maratha community will be on the road to demand for Maratha reservation. On 9th August, Maharashtra Bandh has been announced. However, Mumbai and Thane will not be included in the block. Parallel has also been removed with this. After the meeting with the police, the Maratha Samayavik Samiti has been informed about this decision. Earlier, no decision was taken by Navi Mumbai Coordination Committee. There will be only stance agitations at all four places.
According to the information, the agitation will be held on 9th August throughout the state for Maratha reservation. However, the march will not leave in Mumbai. This decision was taken because of the violence during the agitation in Mumbai.
On July 25, the march had started a violent turn in Navi Mumbai, and one died in it. This decision was taken so that it should not be done again, informed that the meeting was given by the MLA Narendra Patil in a press conference.
