21 July : Nagpur:- The Minister of Finance has announced a package of Rs 22, 122 crores for the development of Vidarbha Marathwada. For the announcement of this package, the monsoon session was held in Nagpur. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis gave a reply to the final week’s proposal in the Legislative Assembly that information will be provided to the infrastructure, irrigation projects, irrigation system, in this package.
Chief Minister Shri. Fadnavis said, the state’s periodic development program has been planned. These steps have been taken for development of Vidarbha and Marathwada with backwardness. The work of connecting 5 lakh 10 thousand agricultural pumps for agriculture has been done so far. This has also been linked to pending since 2010.
The development plan of Mumbai is considered critically by the corporation and the government. The government has changed the development plan by 14 municipal corporations to 14 places. Out of this, there is an increase of 42 acres of free space. Even after this, the state government had to take the approval of the proposed works in this plan. However, the commission has been given the right to clear the changes in the development plan. The government is considering the idea of setting up a three-member committee to co-ordinate this work. Although this plan was prepared in English, its translation has been done in Marathi.
The development of Koliwada in Mumbai will be demarcated. The rentals for MHADA will be given to the tenants’ society for redevelopment. In order to solve the problems of housing, five lakh houses have been set up under the Prime Minister’s housing scheme. In this, 50 thousand houses will be available for Nagpur and 35,000 houses are planned. Water supply scheme has been made in Nagpur. The Nagpur Metro will be the fastest metro in the country and the first phase of the Metro will be operational by 2019. Projects such as solid waste, sewage treatment, snake river cleaning etc. will be taken to Nagpur City.
Increased FSI has been given to build affordable homes and commercial buildings in Mumbai. Since there is no space for construction in other places like Mumbai, five FSI has been given to the professional construction for new employment. The Chief Minister said that the reservation of the land of the private land police stations in Lonavla has been shown, also the issue will be resolved by the police.
