Nagaland has been disrupted due to heavy rains since last one month. As many as 5,386 families have become homeless because of the rains that have started since July 26. Many families have taken refuge in the camp. Five thousand villages have been affected and landslides have taken place in 300 places.
Chief Minister Nimfu Rio Secretary Abhishek Singh said that due to the rain, there has been huge losses. He said that due to landslides, the contact with many small states has been broken. ‘There is a landslide that has caused landslides due to rain in many places. This has broken the contact of many districts, “he said.
On August 29, Chief Minister Nimphu Rio urged Nagaland to help Twitter through Twitter. ‘Nagaland needs your help. Floods have flooded many places due to heavy rain. He has said that in the tweet, due to landslides, life has become disrupted.
Meanwhile Nagaland has not received any help yet. Officials are expected to visit from 4th to 7th of September, and will then be expected to announce the help.
