According to the Meteorological Department estimates, on June 7, there was a possibility of heavy rains in most places in Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts. On Friday, June 8, Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri, Raigad districts are prone to high rainfall.
On Saturday, June 9, there is a possibility of extreme rainfall in most places in Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri, Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar. On 10th and 11th June, Mumbai with heavy rains and some places of extreme rainfall in some places in Konkan. Following the warning of the weather department, the administration has been instructed to be cautious and the citizens should take the necessary precautions, appealed by State Disaster Relief Cell.
