Dushyant won a bronze medal in the men’s lightweight single sculle final in the yachting, finishing third in the final. In the final, Dushyant took 7 minutes and 18.76 seconds to finish the tournament.
During this, the medal winner Dushyant’s health went down, he was taken to the stretcher after medal ceremonial. It is said that Dushyant was suffering from high blood pressure, and he was feeling uncomfortable after landing with a podium.
Dushyant also gave India a bronze medal in the same event in the Asian Games in 2014. However this time their time is better than the last Asian Games.

He finished the competition in 7 minutes and 26.27 seconds in the Incheon 2014 Asian Games. The gold medal of the competition won by South Korean player Hoonusu Park. He took 7 minutes and 12.86 seconds. In addition, Chun Hin Chu of Hong Kong took the silver medal for 7 minutes and 14.16 seconds.
In men’s lightweight doubles sculls, Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh gave India the second bronze medal. With this, the number of medals in India has increased. Rohit and Bhagwan finished the final phase of the competition by taking the time of 7 minutes and 04.61 seconds and occupy the bronze medal at the third place.
