24 July :- Kakasaheb Dattatray Shinde, who was jumped into the river on the bridge at Kaigaon, demanded reservation for Maratha community, died during treatment. In this regard, the Maratha Kranti Morcha has warned the state government. Maratha Kranti Morcha has warned the state government that we will not take the body of the young man and will not do the funeral until our demands are fulfilled.
We demand that he be declared a martyr, his family be given compensation of Rs 50 Lakh, his brother be given a govt job & action be taken against local admn. In response to the ANI news agency, some demands were made from the Maratha Kranti Morcha. It has been demanded to declare martyred youth of Kakasaheb Shinde as a martyr. It has also been demanded that his family should be given 50 lakh rupees and the brother of Kakasaheb Shinde should get involved in government service.

On Monday afternoon, Kakasaheb Dattatray Shinde, the youth, jumped into the river over the bridge at Kayagaon. He was taken out of the water and immediately rushed to a hospital in Aurangabad. However, the young man died during treatment. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed sadness over this and the state government has decided to give full help to the family. The Marathi Revolution has demanded that action should also be taken against this local administration. Similarly, demand has been made to prevent recruitment of Mega recruitment till the Maratha community gets reservation.
Meanwhile, after the death of Kakasaheb Shinde, the road was blocked by the Maratha Kranti Morcha on the Mumbai Pune Highway.
Besides, on Monday night, some youths shouted slogans that the Chief Minister should resign by assaulting the iconic statue of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
