25th July : Aurangabad – Maharashtra band called on Tuesday for Maratha reservation had started a violent turn in Marathwada. Meanwhile, Jagannath Sonawane (aged 55) tried to commit suicide by poisoning the protesters. He is today dead during treatment. During the agitation at Devgaon Rangari in Aurangabad, Sonawane tried to commit suicide by poisoning the lasur tea point during the agitation. This incident took place on Tuesday (24th July) at 10.30 am

After this, Jagannath was immediately given first aid at a rural hospital in Devgaon Rangari. However, he was admitted to the Valley’s Aurangabad Valley hospital and he died during treatment. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, six protesters had attempted suicide.
