Mahatma Gandhi believed that Mohammed Ali Jinnah would be the Prime Minister of the country. However, Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama said on Tuesday that it was not acceptable to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The Dalai Lama had come to Goa for the discussion on the traditional knowledge of modern India in the Goa Institute of Management, located at Sallal in Goa. At that time, he interacted with the students. He said, Mahatma Gandhi believed that Mohammed Ali Jinnah would be the Prime Minister of the country.

However, it was not acceptable to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. They were self-centered. He expressed his desire to become the Prime Minister. At that time Mahatma Gandhi made Nehru the Prime Minister. Had Jinnah been the Prime Minister then India would not have been partitioned. In addition, I knew Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru well. He was a very intelligent and experienced person, said Dalai Lama.
Meanwhile, after seven years, the Dalai Lama has come to Goa. Goa Institute of Management had been invited to complete 25 years of completion.
