If you get diesel tax relief then the revision of the price – Minister Diwakar Raote
Responding to the increase in ticket prices, State Transport Minister and ST Corporation Chairman Diwakar Raote said that due to the increase in fuel prices, the average monthly expenditure of the corporation increased to Rs 460 crore. Similarly, the workers have been raised to the tune of Rs 4,849 crore just recently. This has caused a lot of financial burden on the ST corporation. The corporation had proposed that it increase the ticket amount by 30 percent. But the decision to increase the rate of not less than 30 percent to 18 percent is finally decided to avoid excessive financial burden on passengers. This decision has also been taken, “he said.
However, we have asked Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to demand the state government to waive various taxes on diesel. Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar also gave a positive response to this demand, including the Chief Minister. If this demand is accepted, the quota will be rethinked, Minister Shri Raoate said.
