Bengaluru -23 May – Janata Dal Secular leader H. D Kumaraswamy took oath as Chief Minister of Karnataka on Wednesday evening. Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath of office and secrecy to Kumaraswamy. Congress leader The Lord took oath of Deputy Chief Minister.
In the Karnataka assembly elections, the BJP was the biggest party. The BJP, however, had failed to get a majority. The Congress then supported the Janata Party secular party for the establishment. After that, after the political drama that is being painted, Kumaraswamy is finally sworn in as Chief Minister.
