Kerala floods: The mourning of the Russian President Vladimir Putin

There was tremendous loss in Kerala due to heavy rain. This Mahapalalaya has been taken from other countries. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the people who died this year. He has expressed his feelings by writing a letter to President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Recently, UAE assistance has also been given a big relief of Rs. 700 crore for the flood victims of Kerala.

Due to heavy rains since August 8 in Kerala, there was a drought. Presently, though the rainfall has decreased, 223 people have died in this flood. About 10 lakh people were taken to safer places. The state government has said that losses of around Rs 20,000 crore have been lost in this flood. Apart from this, tourism business in Kerala has also been hit. Nearly 80% of the tourists have canceled booking in Kerala.

In the meantime, the businesswoman who is living in Abu Dhabi has announced that she will help 50 crores. Maharashtra government has announced an immediate financial assistance of Rs 20 crore to Kerala. In Pune, seven lakh liters of drinking water has been sent to Kerala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced financial assistance worth Rs 500 crore. 10 crore from Andhra Pradesh, 10 crore from Punjab, 10 crore from Delhi government, 25 crore from Telangana.

On the other hand, the Kerala government has started preparations for the special assembly session on August 30. We will discuss the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Convention and the recommendation will be made to the Governor shortly, said Vijayan. It also said that Vijayan will hold an all-party meeting on Tuesday.
