Bengaluru: 06 June :- Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy expanded his 15-day-old Cabinet on Wednesday. He included 25 ministers in the cabinet. The Governor administered oath to Governor Vajubhai Vala. With this expansion, the number of members in the cabinet has gone up to 27.
In the Congress-JDS coalition government of Karnataka, 14 ministers have been formed by the Congress, nine ministers, the allies JDS and one minister BSP and the KPJP. Governor Vajubhai Wa had administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers in the Raj Bhavan.

Among those who took oath today are the former Prime Minister and JDS Superintendent HD Deve Gowda’s son HD Revanna and senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar. JDS Deve Gowda has also been included in the Cabinet who had defeated former CM Siddaramaiah in Chamundeswari seat of Mysuru. Congress legislator in the cabinet councilor Jayalala is the only female minister.
