Kanhaiya Kumar, the former president of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Student’s Association in Delhi, is now ready for entry into national politics. Media has reported that Kanhaiya Kumar will contest the Lok Sabha election in 2019. Kanhaiyyya Kumar has been told that the decision was taken after all the Left unions agreed to contest the Lok Sabha election. According to the report, Kanhaiya Kumar is going to contest the Lok Sabha election on CPI ticket from Begusarai in Bihar.
Kanhaiya Kumar will contest the Lok Sabha election from Begusarai by Congress, RJD and Left Front organization Maha Awaghadi. Kanhaiya Kumar’s candidature is also being communicated to Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is also told that he has no objection to this. However, Kanhaiyyya Kumar’s candidature is not yet officially announced, or Kumaiyya Kumar himself has not received any response yet. At present, the BJP occupies the Begulasrai Lok Sabha seat. BJP’s Bhola Singh won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier, in April, Communist Party of India (CPI) had given space to Kanhaiya Kumar in its national conference. After selection of Kanhaiya Kumar as a member of the 125th National Council, Kanhaiya was expected to come in national politics. In addition to this, Kanhaiya said that if the National Janata Dal, Congress and the Left unions have formed a great fight in Bihar a few months ago, then I am ready to contest the election.
