Kishtwar – A bus carrying the devotees collided with a landslide on Padder Road. Due to the collapse of the river, the devotees did not get the chance to get out of the bus. In this accident, 12 pilgrims died and 5-year-old boy was rescued. He is injured and is being treated at the hospital. Out of the 12 bodies, 11 bodies have been taken out.

The pilgrimage to Machil Devi was started on 25th July, and the journey lasted 43 days. So far, 1.5 lakh devotees have come to this yatra.
